A few small habits keep every knit performing, and feeling, like the day you opened it. When in doubt, wash cool and skip the heat.
Wash cool, inside out
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, turned inside out to protect the surface.
Skip the softener
No fabric softener or bleach. They coat performance fibers and break down stretch and wicking over time.
Hang or lay flat to dry
Air-dry when you can. If you must tumble, use low heat. High heat is the fastest way to shorten a fabric's life.
Don't iron or dry clean
Performance knits don't need it. Both can damage elastane and the brushed interior on LoverFleece.
Wash after sweat
Rinse or wash soon after tough sessions so salt and oils don't set into the fibers.
Store folded
Fold rather than hang heavier fleece pieces so they hold their shape season after season.
